An annuity specialist compares fixed, indexed, variable, and immediate annuities to find income you can count on.
We act as your fiduciary, write down every fee and commission, and explain each contract in plain words before you sign.

Annuity specialist and Financial Advisor Pro founder William Moon meeting with a retired couple to compare annuity options and guaranteed retirement income.

Fiduciary Advice, With Every Fee in Writing

The question that matters most is whether an advisor is a fiduciary all the time, and many who sell annuities are not.
We are fiduciaries, so we put your interests first, and we are fee-based.
We write down every fee, commission, and surrender charge in plain words before you sign anything.
You can confirm our insurance license anytime through the National Insurance Producer Registry.

The Services We Offer

We are a full retirement and income advisor, not a one-annuity shop.

Who Needs an Annuity Specialist

You may want part of your money turned into guaranteed income for life, no matter where you live.
We serve clients nationwide by video.
This includes near-retirees planning ahead and retirees who want income today.
Many retirees comparing an annuity to other options also want a financial advisor for seniors to review their whole retirement plan first.

Annuity Specialists, Frequently Asked Questions

Do you earn a commission selling annuities?

We are fee-based. Most annuities pay the advisor a commission built into the contract by the insurance company. We write that down for you. We include the surrender charge schedule too. We do this before you sign anything.

What is a surrender charge and how long does it last?

A surrender charge is a fee for taking out more money than allowed before a set time ends. It often lasts five to ten years. It gets smaller each year. We review this schedule with you before you put in any money.

Can I lose money in a fixed or indexed annuity?

A fixed or fixed indexed annuity protects your original money from market loss. A variable annuity can lose value. It is invested in the market. So the value can change. The type you choose decides how much risk you take.

Can I roll over my 401k or IRA into an annuity?

Yes. In most cases, you can move money from a 401k or IRA straight into an annuity. You will not pay tax or a penalty on this move. This is called a direct transfer. The money never passes through your hands. We check your plan’s rules first. Then we handle the paperwork so the move goes smoothly.

How do I verify an annuity specialist is legitimate?

Check adviser standing for free on the SEC Investment Adviser Public Disclosure site. Also check FINRA BrokerCheck. Then confirm the insurance license through the National Insurance Producer Registry. Licenses and any disclosures are public record.

Is there a minimum amount to buy an annuity?

Minimums change by insurance company and contract type. Most start at $50,000. We check current minimums against your goals during your free meeting. We do not quote one number for every case.

How much will my annuity pay me each month?

Your monthly payout depends on three things. These are your age, how much you invest, and the payout option you choose. For example, a $100,000 immediate annuity can pay roughly $500 to $650 a month for a single retiree in their late sixties. The amount is lower if you add a joint-survivor benefit for a spouse. We run real quotes from multiple insurance companies. This way you see your exact number instead of a guess.
